Alphabet Plates (www.alphabetplates.com), a new e-tailer specializing in customized children's products, has released an exciting line of colorful personalized plates and placemats, transforming mealtime into fun time. Creator Laura Paresky Gould, creator of Alphabet Plates says that, “Our personalized products offer more than just a name; the plates also highlight kid's favorite foods, sports interests, or physical appearances.” The website has a sophisticated -- yet user-friendly -- technical feature so that customers can create their own illustrated plates and are able to preview designs in real-time. This interactive dynamic is entertaining, easy-to-use and found only at AlphabetPlates.com.

The "Face-it" section of the website displays a variety of illustrations from which to choose: 18 hairstyles, 7 hair colors, 4 eye colors, 4 skin tones and 7 plate colors, as well as appropriate accessories, including eyeglasses, pacifiers, princess crowns, hair bows and flower barrettes and areas in which to type a child's name and/or characteristic, i.e., "Big Sister Lila," as seen below.

Alphabet Plates also offers one-of-a-kind personalized plates that highlights favorite kid

foods, i.e., "Jessie loves cupcakes," "Skyler loves sushi," "Olivia loves broccoli," all served up with vibrant colors and bold graphics. There are plates geared towards hobbies and sports, including tennis, basketball, baseball, etc. The 10" melamine plates are all BPA-free and made in the U.S.A.

Alphabet Plates is raising money for a cause. The plates are break-resistant, and Alphabet Plates wants those with Osteogenesis Imperfecta ("Brittle Bone Disease") to be more break-resistant too. A portion of each purchase is donated to the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, www.oif.org, the only voluntary national health organization dedicated to helping people cope with the problems associated with Osteogenesis Imperfecta.

Alphabet Plates is the latest creation by Laura Paresky Gould, a graphic designer, animator, photographer and fine artist. She has been commissioned by Disney for special projects and has created internationally award-winning motion graphics for Nike, NBC, E! Entertainment Television, CBS, CNN, and USA Pictures. She created the logo identities for many destinations across the country including the Miami Mandarin Oriental’s Azul Restaurant, the Trump Sonesta’s Aquanox Spa, and the Zimmer Children’s Museum in Los Angeles. Paresky Gould's fine artwork appears in museums and public and private collections worldwide, including three solo exhibits during Art Basel Miami Beach. Paresky Gould brings her distinct design skills to the table with each Alphabet Plates product. She says, "It was natural for me to use my design skills to make products my three kids would enjoy.  We use them everyday, and the kids love giving Alphabet Plates as presents.”  Paresky Gould says that she knows first-hand that adults truly appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into personalized gifts. She adds, "Kids love to see their name on anything." To learn more about Paresky Gould and her work, visit www.paresky.com or www.alphabetplates.com.
